He is fine but has a beat up elbow. I also hear the Nimbus may have a bent frame. He said an older woman (hes 68) ran the stop sign at Hill City and Frank Kiesler and ran smooth into the back of his bike. He said he felt bad for her and let her go. Sighhh.

Yeah he really loved that bike. I guess he will be out of riding and back to walking. It was a stretch to get him to buy that one. He told be it was bent over about three inches on the frame. Also busted up his new wheel. I could kick his but for not getting her info.

omigosh, I'm glad it's nothing more serious, but I wished he had gotten the license plate and not let it go.

Jason - it was a treat to meet your parents when you all came to our house. Please tell him I wish him a speedy a full recovery.
Try to get him back on a bike soon!

Sorry to hear about your dad. Getting hit isn't fun, but then to be out of a bike is just unacceptable. Have him check with his home owner's insurance. They covered one of my bikes when it was stolen after a ride. It's worth a try.

I'm glad your Dad will survive, not so much that the driver will too

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.
