Well, that person will miss out on plowing into a huge plate of food on a collapsing paper plate
and sleep in a room with a door that slams shut every time a guy goes to the head.
Get to meet your temp. family that have more in common with you than your own brother and or sisters.
My health issues are finally gone and have stepped up my weekly riding to 75+ miles again at last. Seems to me that the heat is a bit more intense early on than last year. The first 99F day I rode with Eddie in RLP and because I didn't bring enough water with me I almost boinked.
So I vowed to not let that happen again if I could avoid it. Extra ice water and paper towels to cool down with are with me for the remainder of the summer.
My Cycle Genius has gone through a refurbishing as well, New Marathons fore and aft and replacement SRAM 3.0 shifters to replace the worn out originals. I even spray painted the shells on my Wellago SPDs to a close matching Red. Doen't improve them but look pretty cool.
I want to be ready to enjoy the 100K regardless of the temps and just hope nothing unexpected happens to waylay my plans.
I wonder if Flying Lazyboy will get to test a new RANS over the 100 mile course? It sure would be a good proving ground.
