Finally got back to the Sunday morning GDB Roll ride...  Did a partial commute from the Skillman DART station to the ride, and met Sam (ID of "Season" here) at the start, a relatively new Strada rider who has posted here before.  Lynn Morrow and Mark Allen were also along.  Sam's only been riding since February, but did just fine...  The group of ~30 headed west from Preston/Royal, out Royal and MacArthur to the airport, winding its way back from there for about 38 miles total.  Unfortunately, the flat fairy was flitting around, creating three flats for one DF rider and another one for another guy, so there was a lot of waiting around -- but it was a beautiful morning.  We had a couple of nice downhills along the route, including a divebomb on MacArthur just south of 635, both of which where I hit 40 mph...
 
Got back to the car with an exact 50 miles on the computer, pleasantly tired.  I'll post some photos later today.
