It's A Start
May 7th, 2009, 11:17pm

My husband and I were out in Richardson last Saturday and I convinced him to go to RBM with me to kill some time. I dragged him over to the recumbents and after much pleading, convinced him to just sit on a couple of them. It wasn't much, but it was a HUGE step for the him. This is a man to whom any bike costing more than $150 is usually invisible. If the storm hadn't blown up right then, I might have even convinced him to try riding one. Baby steps. We just have to keep taking baby steps...

Smiley Way to go Patti, just keep taking those little steps.
Keep in mind, there are plenty of us who have a bunch of different style of bents who are always happy to let people test ride. Get him out to a "little outing" at White Rock some weekend when you know lots of the bent riders are going to be there  Wink, let nature takes its course   Smiley
