congratulations  Angie

Angie, Ray, Steve and I along with 12 other riders rolled out of Flower Mound  on a MS training ride with the goal of completing their  first century . Ray put together a great route . If it had not been for the 51 miles of head wind (not his fault).

Angie, Amanda rode together most of the day. Steve and I tried to ride with Brad and Sara as well as Amanda and Angie. We regrouped often. Angie rode very strong all day.She stayed up-beat even with the head winds.

Thank you Angie and Ray for allowing Steve and to be a part of such a big event. Angie said she would be up for a flat Smiley 200k early this fall maybe even over the summer. We will make sure its all down hill  Smiley

Angie we are so proud of you Smiley. Mission accomplished. Century ride completed!

Wow, I had no idea you'd come so far so fast, Angie.  You are really plugging along!  I'm sure I can speak for everyone and say we're proud of you.

Angie, do you remember this time last year on the Lancaster Ride on the Giro 20?  Remember the hills and how difficult they were for you?  You have come a long way in a short time--CONGRATULATIONS!!   Man, what a difference a year makes.  Hope to see you at a ride soon.

Hey Everyone!  It's Angie (I'm having issues with my log in so I'm using Ray's).

I can't tell you how much your support and well wishes mean to me.  Finishing 100 miles is a long-time goal, and to have accomplished that with the caliber talent riding with us was awesome.  Bike riding is an activity I love because I don't have to act or feel my age.  To share it with my wonderful husband and such good friends is added blessing.  Maybe someday I can repay their generosity and help someone else achieve that first milestone, but for now I'll set more goals.   After the MS 150, then a 200k.  I'll take you up on that Peggy!

Thanks again to all for the kind words and encouragement!!!!  Smiley  You guys rock!

Way to go, Angie!!!!  And I'm guessing you weren't really sore afterwards, and could have gone out for another long ride the next day...   You've got an excellent bike for distance riding, especially into headwinds!
