That looks just like one of those singing fishes! They don't have those back in the NYC suburbs.  Smiley

Nice Bud - how much did she weight?  And were you practicing "catch-n-release"?  What's the slot these days at lake fork?

The fish weighed 6 pounds. Fork had a 14 to 24 inch slot, last I knew. I didn't measure this fish, but I'm sure she would have been short of 24 inches. Right after the photo was taken, I weighed her, then released her right where I caught her, so she could return to her bed and continue with her lake restocking activities.

What a catch, I bet it was calmer under the water than on top. Did the bass complain about the high winds chafing his scales  Grin

I hesitate to correct you,Bud, but you're being too modest...
 
6 pounds = 272,155.422 centigram...  so it was a "270K"!!!!!!
