P.S.  I have a brand new pair of Keen sandals that needs to be broken in and everybody gets to watch me fall down repeatedly.  Grin  (First time going clipless)

Hm what kind of pedals you putting on? Er watch your plant foot on the wet surfaces depending on the cleats. The Keens are good, especially compared to my road shoes, but they still slip on watered/oiled down metal and paint.

PD-A520s (Thanks Jay!!!) I bought the multi-release cleats 'cause I thought they'd be easier for a first timer.  I'm sure I'll forget once or twice and fall, but clipping in and out seems really easy.  I just went for a short ride around the block cliping and uncliping and even tried coming to a full stop still clipped in to see how fast I could get both feet out.  No problem with these cleats and pedals.  I really like the sandals.  Could be a tad bit wider but they're comfortable and I'm looking forward to having the ventilation this summer.  Heck, they're even black and yellow just like my bike!  Smiley

The rubber on the sandal is a bit hard so you're probably right, I'll have to watch that.  Thanks.

Oops, didn't see your post early enough Tom.  Sorry.  I scheduled a service call tomorrow since I didn't think anyone would be riding.  If John is going Wednesday instead, I'm game.  You?
