DF rabbits are fun to chase..........
Nov 19th, 2008, 5:57pm

I've been tied to work and haven't had a day off since the 1st.  I read about all the great rides going on and it's just a little frustrating not to be able to participate in all the fun.  But, I've got the Corsa parked in the office and do get out on the Trinity Trail most every day.  So a little while ago, about 5 PM I got off the trail and went around by the Colonial Club House then back on the trail to head back to work.  I could see a DF ahead, northbound coming out from under University.  So I'm thinking oh boy, this could be good.  I stepped it up a bit to come out from under University at a good clip.  He was sort of lolly-gagging around, happened to glance back and see a bent and I got that Lance Armstrong look right then.  You could read his face perfectly.  He was up and grinding it out in nothing flat.  I don't think he wanted company, but I gave it to him.  He run it up to 29 along that flat stretch there where they've got the new building going up.  I just hung with him.  He'd take a quick peak every now and then and there I'd be, about 15 yared back.  He gave it up at the parking lot by Tandy.  Kinda glad he did.  Don't know if I could have held that all the way over to 4th St.  D J

We are going to have a lot fun fun this summer you and I, now that I lived ON the Trinity trail.  I don't get home early enough to meet up with you - it's 5:30 usually before I pull in the driveway.

At least you can give fast rabbits a good chase. I have to find slow rabbits.
