Red River Classic

Is this Sat (Aug 16th) in Sherman. http://www.shermankiwanis.org/
 
I've never done this one before since it used to be in Sept and would conflict with the Cotton Patch. It seems to have received decent reviews which get better yr after yr. If anyone's done this before, how are the roads up thar??

Some of the same roads were in a populaire I rode recently and were very good. I'm planning to do this ride.
