Seat repair on TE Clone
Jul 28th, 2008, 4:04pm

My wife and I got together and made a repair on the torn seat yesterday afternoon.  She sewed another strip of the mesh material into the good part of the fabric and rolled over the tube and sewed it down.  We used 30 lbs. mopnofilament fishing line to sew the fabric and I wraped monofilament around the tubes on both side of the seat.   The seat sure felt a lot better and was firmer than it has been as I road it  this morning.
I have a basket on the back of this bike and I use to pick up groceries and other stuff.

No I don,t since all of the material is bright yellow and the monfilamnet is clear I doubt if it will show up,
Since I am color blind to several colors, I use a lot of Yellow whick I do not have a problem seeing.  Red can blind into green or brown to the point I have to be just a few feet away before I  can see the difference.  My wife has a few stories to tell on my ability to see colors.
