Help in knowing about Actionbent Midracer
Jul 28th, 2008, 11:13am

Does anybody from here had one or own one of the Actionbent Midracer. I've been looking at it on the website. The only thing I see is that I don't like the way the chain is routed. For right now I can handle the price of it to oppose to the Baron. I've seen one in person at WRL and I was please with it from what I see but didn't get to feel it.
 Thanks: Thomas

Honestly, in my opinion, it's not likely to be faster than the thunderbolt.  You're much better off working on the engine and saving for a better bike, whatever that may be.

Ditto's on the Thunderbolt, I just sold an ActionBent Tango which is very similar ride wise to their Midracer,ie seat height, weight only a few pounds different. You can't go wrong with the Lightening speed or quality wise.

Sounds familiar - that's a habit a few of us have.  If you're looking for a speed upgrade, a p-38 is not a bad bike either.

I'm gonna make a couple change to my bike and see what it will do. I sure did like the look of the Rans V3 but couldn't ride it at it current setup.

Yeah, the Zephyr seat is NOT what you want for that bike... and that particular Zephyr still feels weird compared to the Zephyr I sat on up at the factory, I'm not sure what the difference is.  The standard RANS seat is more for "our size" riders -- and by that, I mean anyone over 200 pounds...  Cheesy

Thanks

It didn't have anything to do with the quality of the bike just so you know. I have some disability related problems that I just couldn't ignore although I sure tried hard enough  Smiley .  Dianna rides with me a lot and couldn't help but notice my delima and let me take some test ride time on the Cafe sitting in her garage. It just so happened to turn out to be what they call "a match made in Heaven"  In 5 rides after buying the Cafe, I have tweaked the seat position a little each ride and now have it at just the distance and back angle I feel most comfortable in plus when all that is done, you can tell because all your muscles come into play and not just one group which causes pain to the over worked portions at least for me.
