TTTT practice August 9th or 10
Jul 24th, 2008, 1:48pm

There's a lull in the biking opportunities this weekend, and those of us considering the run need to get a crack at the course - especially as there will be several of us running for the first time.  What say we meet at the church either Saturday or Sunday at 7:30am and have some fun.  A warm up lap to look at the condition of the course, a couple fast loops for time, and an optional loop or two for miles?

If you're serious about racing it, then you really need to ride it.  Whatdya say? We can bop into downtown cleburne afterwards for some lunch, but you'll need to be 100% self-supported for the ride, as there is nothing for miles around.

Which basically means bring extra drinks and stuff in your car to have between laps...  There's really not even a bathroom, unless you can find somebody is there at the New Hope Church that'll let you in...   undecided

I'm up for a drive down there.  7:30 may be a little early, but we can figure it out.

Saturday would probably be better as the New Hope home folks will be occupying the church on Sunday Morning.  Im willing to call the church and see if they would be willing to open the bathrooms in the picnic shelter on Saturday.  We could pitch in some $$ to them to help cover the utilities.

I'm in either day, if I don't end up in Syracuse for a little work retreat.
That'll give me a chance to really look close at the course and my time. I can also be the neutral support bicycle based on all the times I got stopped this week to help people with chains and tires.

If we're doing the wheelcover thing afterwards, I may just join in on this and make a day of it...

Where will we be doing the wheel cover thing? I won't be at the TTTT practice ride. I have my own hill training planned for that day on Crappie Hill.

Paul come and make a day of it anyway, and you can ride the x-treme.

Bud, we can do the wheelcover thing anytime you'd like - we'll work our schedule in around it.

While it's still very doubtful I can come due to the potential work stoppage, I'm curious who all is going to practice at the TTTT course this Saturday, 8-9 at 7:30am?

Please provide full post ride analysis, and video coverage.  Grin
