GDB Distance Builder

(Cross-post from Airport Ride thread -- PB ]

For those interested in doing 40ish miles on a Saturday morning, there is always the GDB Distance Builder ride, which meets and departs at the same location, same time as the Airport Ride (S/W corner of Preston/Forest, 8AM).  It's a more casual, no drop group, although the typical pace is ~15, and the route changes weekly....   GDB welcomes all comers, you don't have to be a member to join in on rides.  Just introduce yourself around before the start, and find the DB ride leader for that Saturday -- it changes weekly as well.   I did this ride a LOT my first couple years, working up to 40-50 mile distances, before I had the cojones to try the Airport.
