Well, very different from the Bike E I had.  I do Love it love it love it, however, I have to get used to using my whole body to move the bike and not just rely on the handlebars.  It's a bit more reclined then I was expecting which I love.  While at Angletech I tried the Minstral with OC and uss and the Fujin with preying mantis handlebars.  I like the recline of the fujin but I loved even more the uss.  The Hurricane SL feels very similar to the fujin except for the different wheel size and of course the uss.  So it seems to be the best of both.

Excellent choice -- we can already tell you love it!!!   Nice to have something "completely different" in the area...

Hm I looked here
http://www.edroth.com/ I wonder if he was one of the guest stars on some car restoration show I saw once.

But all I could think of is "I always knew you were a no good rat fink" from some old movie and it seemed all too common an expression in the press back home in new york/connecticut.

color?  Perhaps I'm just lost *shrug* I grew up in a much older generation.

Edit: Hey if anyone wants that very nice bikestand/couch it is going on the auction block. Let your recumbent relax in style after a long ride on a nice lazyboy couch with dual recliners  Grin Need to make room for my wifes recumbent ________.

I guess the reference was more obscure than I thought. The Hurricane in the photo just reminded me of the sorts of wild hot rods created by Ed Roth and George Barris in the '60s and '70s.

Once you mentioned it I recognised at once that the new bike was "Rat Fink Green".

Foo,

I remember Big Daddy well. I had my own version of his art on my book covers in junior high. Remember Don Garlits too. They were some of my junior high heros. I escaped out the window of a class once with another kid and went to the drag races... instead of learnin.  Smiley
