I saw here some complaints here about the road surface on this one however I can think of maybe 3 short spots with any potholes and a mile of crappy chipseal but other than that it was a very fast ride with good roads, well marked and great job by the local cops with traffic, I hit one rest stop 50 miles in and outran a 40+ rider pack, it was fun  
 
Very few recumbents, I saw John Sadowski, the banana bike guy (I can never remember his name), a yellow Bacchetta and a couple of trikes out of maybe a thousand riders

I met a guy on yellow Strada. He has never heard of RBENT so I am trying to get him educated.
As far as the pot hole; There were a few bad spots but most were highlighted with bright paint and, while a nusance, avoidable.  
Also on the ride was a unfriendly guy on a Volare.
