Bicycling at White Rock Lake this Sunday afternoon
Mar 14th, 2008, 4:38pm

Hello Everyone,

I will be Bicycling at White Rock Lake this Sunday afternoon 3/16/2008  to enjoy this moderate Spring Weather with the Hybird crew.  This will be very much a casual laid-back ride around the Lake and should not take more then 45minutes.

We will be meeting at the Bath House Cultural Center at 3:00pm for a 3:15pm  rollout. The Bathhouse is   located off Buckner Blvd via North Cliff Dr the address is: 521 E.  Lawther Drive

Look for my Yellow Jeep Wrangler.    If you need anything call my cell phone at 469-853-4015   The weather is forecasted to be in the around 70deg so dress accordingly.  If you want to do more then 1 lap get there early and give me a call.  I should be on my bike around 1:00pm.  Last week Mark and TJ where on their low racers.

FYI  I've organized countless small bike rides like this.  Usually 4 to 12 people show up.   Its very refreshing.  Last I also organized 3 picnics at white rock that was attended by over 50 people.

These sunday afternoon rides are like being on vacation.

I'm not familiar with the lake path or the area. How fast would a 45 minute ride be or your preride be? If all the stars align properly for my saturday I might head out there.

Well, WRL is a 10 mile lap using the bike path to get accross the creek on either end, and staying on the roads the reat of the trip Smiley :45 per lap is 15MPH.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

If all goes as planned, Terrie and I should be meeting at the northeast end parking lot for a lap or so around 4:15 -- so we might see you somewhere around the lake!

(Don't say anything about the other Stratus XP, she'll still be on the EZ1...   Wink  )

Terry,

So how about this coming weekend  3/24?  You could of course also meet me in Plano and ride the rocket so I might have some chance of kinda keeping up.
