Aledo or Italy?
Mar 11th, 2008, 10:12am

I'd like to see a nice big RBENT group roll out to one of these events.  For me personally, my Dr.'s Appt will be on the 26th, and I should be cleared to smoke roadies on that date.   Tongue

I'd *especially* like to see 6 Killer B Bacchettas rolling down the highway in full kit.

However, I've got a big dillemma.  The ride for heroes in Aledo, which has been a PHENOMENAL charity ride, has added an intriguing century option.  I really can't stress enough how amazing this ride is.  The hills are fun, the road control is great, and there's always someone around to chat with.  Rest stops are cool too.

But:  If I do the italy 200k, then I've begun my race for the R12 award one month earlier.

What are y'all doing or planning?  I'm allowing only one vote in the poll, so choose what you most want to do, but post if you're up for either option.

I'm definitely in the Aledo ride, along with a few DF bikers from the office.  Good chance this will be my wife's first ever group/ pay ride on the 20 mile route.  I'll likely just do the 40 miler, but may opt for more if I can get in some more time on the bike with daylight savings time now here.

Only having 115 miles total so far back on the Giro so I'm going to take to aledo if I go anywhere.
It is also closer to my house and well I'm lazy and don't want to drive far.

It's Sulphur Springs for me. I loved Aledo last year but I also loved Sulphur Springs and it'd on my side of town. Why do all these rides have to be on the same weekend?
