Simple machining needed

I’m tearing apart my Baron to up-grade it. Does anyone have at least a drill press and some associated machining skills? Who wants to make a modest amount of money for their efforts or trade favors? I want to re-route a pair of cables through the frame and I need some holes drilled in the frame. Two holes toward the back and a larger hole in the middle under the tiller. Currently my cables are routed outside of the frame and I want them to be like the other barons I’ve seen with the cables routed on the inside of the frame.

My current tooling will only allow me to work with steels and some composites, not many (any Kevlar in the mix will shut down my drills). Opus

Thanks Opus! I was tempted to purchase a second hand drill press of Craig’s list. But I’m really trying to simplify my life and get rid of such things. And my machining skills are very limited.

I want this to look professional so I don’t want to be hacking away with a had drill via my limited skills. I asked mark to snap a photo of what the holes look like on the fame for reference.

I will strip off the parts and do one of two things: (Your choice)
1) I can drop off the frame and pick it up latter and stay out of your way.
2) I can hang out at your place and be your apprentice and extra set of hands to hold the frame while you perform your crafts.
This is one of thoose things in life where there is no such thing as a small mistake. So I very much appreceaite the help.

weird - I didn't know they even came any other way. I really like the cables routed through the frame, but when you re-do the cabling make sure you get good cables and housing and lube the cables at least. I still had trouble shifting after that until I switched shimano for sram, but it likely won't be a problem for you.

I'm in it to Schwinn it.
