This is a nice jaunt, with plenty of hills to climb or to speed down...  and VERY few cars.  I feel bad, because I keep taking Brian on these rides that wind up much harder than I think they'll be -- but he was a trooper, climbing everything we threw at him on that EZ-1, finishing with 24.5 miles in under two hours total time!  All the rest of the riders in this group appear to be triathletes -- so the main group went on ahead, and three friends I've gotten to know took an easy pace and escorted us along the route, since it was my/our first time riding it.

I'll probably do this one on a semi-regular basis, since it's only 15 minutes from the house!

Well not so fast on the uptake here, but I just put it together that this is where our friend Joey (of Trinity Cycles) is going to land as the mechanic and general shop manager:

So good deal!  A great guy, and the man who built Ray's Trinity bike up, and my Bleriot.  So I might very well end up in there from time to time, and join some of the group rides.

Bodes well for the new shop!

Take Care,
Nelson.
