Celina ride 1/6/08 (Read 1458 times)

Killer Bee Five Star Member CA2.0 proto type Posts: 1308	Celina ride 1/6/08 Dec 30^th, 2007, 10:32pm The Stradas' are planning a 50+ mile ride in Celina on 1/6/08. Start time is 8:30 am - Celina town square(if it's cold,raining,snowing-I won't be riding). Leisurely pace-16 mph avg. Please come & join us. -Steve

I know Paul is riding with us next Sunday. C'mon Foo,catroad,Nelson,Ray... P.S. Ken,anything below 50 is cold to me. I love me some heat.

Terrie needs my assistance with some things that morning, so I'm not going to be able to go out riding until after noonish... Have fun up there! Would it be possible to change to a 1PM start, riding through the afternoon?

Yes, this part of highway 114 is legal to ride. It's only about a 2 mile stretch, is on the west side of Roanoke, and has a very wide shoulder. I've ridden it many, many times over the years.

I'll submit the route for RUSA (Randonneur USA) approval when I return from travel. I'm off again to The Great White North trying to teach em' thar'e yank's a thang or three about Engineerin'.
