Bean Stalk Metric Century permanent
Nov 11th, 2007, 5:21pm

Had a nice ride out of Princeton yesterday.  This is a nice very quiet rural route to Tom Bean and back.  The lower half of the course is surprisingly smooth for North Texas but there is some chip seal on the upper half.  A few dogs but more the escort variety than aggresive types.  It was very foggy for most of the ride and only started to lift in the last hour.  The 650b wheeled Lemond was a very nice ride.   Will definitely be doing more of the permanents out of Princeton in the near future, and highly reccomend this one for a nice and easy 100K.

Take Care,
Nelson.
