Looking for 100oz bladder to buy or loan
Aug 16th, 2007, 3:17pm

I need a second 100oz water bladder for the HnH100.  If you happen to have an extra 100oz bladder to sell or borrow me please let me know.  I only neeed the bladder as it will be installed in my fast-back bag.

You can borrow mine Terry, I'll be using the rest stop fluids. I have a couple hundred water bottles with wide mouths for stuffing in ice, so I'll be fine.

I was talking "loan", but if you and Opus are carpooling, just work it out with him.

The 9 day extended forcast puts HnH100 in the upper 80s.  So the need for extra water is marginal.  I was actually going to do a project and attach a micro pump to the end of my bladder for cooling water, and use the second badder for hydrating myself.

Here is the pump I have:

I need to goto Radio Shack and get a push button and a 9V battery.

Dont we all just enjoy building stuff!  Tinkerring with our bikes.  And riding them around.  We are like a bunch of teenagers.

I think the bent community is definately into tinkering. I get quite a buzz out of visualizing a project then making it work out. I have the burn marks and scars to prove it. Grin

Well I have been accused of mounting a minifridge on the back of my bike, so you could say I like to tinker a bit myself. I also have the flash burns and other scars to prove it.

Terry, I need to know where you want to meet up for the ride out to WF. I'll be using the free tent camping at the MPEC, so I'll be bringing my tent and skleeping bag along with my bike stuff, and a change of civvy clothes for when I'm not on the bike. It all fist inside the tailbox which has to come off the bike for long transports on a car but the brackets etc. also fit inside the box. So all I really need is room for the box in the car. PM me here (click on the PM link at the bottom of this message.

OK I PMed the follow info:

I dont yet have a job so Im very flexible for the departure time on Friday.   Maybe mid afternoon before rush hour.  Around 2:00 to 3:00PM???

For sure I will neeed to split the gas.  I can calculate a gas budget on mapquest ahead of time.

I will need to know your wheel base length in inches so that I can adjust the Draftmaster rack.  You will be on the center rail that you seen my EZ tandem on.

I havnt securred a spot in the RBENT barracks yet.  I will do so this weekend.  Otherwise I might also be camping as a backup plan.

Looking forward to this event!
