RBENT Metric Ride, Sunday 3/18?
Mar 7th, 2007, 4:35pm

Anybody interested in a Metric (100K) 'bentride on Sunday the 18th, in the afternoon?  I'm thinking we meet at the Bass Pro shop off 121 north of DFW at ~1PM, and head northwest towards Argyle.  I've ridden out there once, and it's pretty nice.  Anticipated flat cruising speeds of 18-ish, some hill climbing, overall average 15-16 or so, a couple breaks planned, finishing about 6PM.

That works for me, as long as you're dragging me up the hills.

I'm going to cancel this -- Bud was the only respondent (no offense, pal), but it turns out that I've got a GDB board meeting at 5PM that afternoon in conflict.

HOWEVER -- There is a GDB-related ride on Saturday the 31st, doing basically the same route.  We meet at the Bass Pro shop parking lot on 121.  I'll post more information about it soon.  I'd enjoy some 'bent company.

I know several have already talked about doing the Ride For Heroes that day, as well.
