The EHCT was the very first organized tour I ever rode.  It sucked, to put it mildly.  Signage was tough to follow and hard to spot, never saw the least bit of sag, and the drivers on the roads were quite discourteous.  Still it was a beautiful place to ride, very scenic, and if you go, spare enough time to tour kerrville and fredericksburg and all that.  Take the scenic route back.
