Title: Charging Without an Outlet Post by Action Lad on Aug 29th, 2021, 9:13am Hey, guys! The 700 is garaged in a storage unit. It has no electrical source. Is there a way to charge up all my batteries after a ride? I know I am not the first human in history to have this issue. |
Title: Re: Charging Without an Outlet Post by Phantom Rider on Aug 31st, 2021, 12:03pm I’m not sure what all you need to charge but can make a suggestion if it’s lights and other lower powered items that typically charge via a usb cable. You can purchase a usb hub with 2, 4, 6 or 8 ports on it so you attach multiple devices to it, make sure it does not require power. Then purchase a battery pack that will attach to the USB hub, it should charge all of your items at least once per battery charge. You can always take the charger home with you and recharge that battery for use the next time. You coils probably get both items via amazon for less than $50 |
Title: Re: Charging Without an Outlet Post by Action Lad on Sep 2nd, 2021, 11:12pm Thanks for the suggestion. In the meantime, I was thinking and thinking, then I thought, “What about an AC battery pack to just plug in my lights’ chargers?” There are such critters. I found this one out first: https://smile.amazon.com/USB-C-Portable-Battery-Laptops-Cameras/dp/B072JWN6LC (I hope you can open it up.) Then, I found others with larger capacities. Here’s a mega pack: https://www.jackery.com/products/explorer-1500-portable-power-station These adventure-seeking Coloradans could use that, but all I need is this one: https://smile.amazon.com/Jackery-Portable-Power-Station-Generator/dp/B07D29QNMJ |
