Title: Maintenance stand
Post by Phantom Rider on May 14th, 2019, 2:35pm

now that my family appears to be gathering trikes I need to look at maintenance stands.  I have found two - Feedback sports trike stand and triketight.  These folks are real proud of their products and their price tags prove it.  I will be doing various maintenance tasks on Catrike and ICE and a yet TBD brand for the daughter-in-law-law who just declared she is getting one next month after vacation.

I’m curious what you use, how it works, if your happy with it, what do you wish it would do aside from the work for you.

I like both of these brands and there are some distinguishable differences in them.  I have a Park PCS-10 for bikes but don’t see that as a good option for the 3 wheelers.

Appreciate your feedback

Did some research on BROL and found several ideas, one of which I really liked.  I own a park tool PCS-10 bike stand and a guy on there had used it for his trike.  I have successfully mounted both a Catrike 700 and pocket in it without issue, granted you have to pick the trike up and place it in the stand but it’s really not difficult.  I will try the VTX when I get it and if it works I have a solution

I'm sure this isn't what you want, but ...

Not really a bike stand but a cheap thing I put under seat cross bar to lift back tire off ground.    Partially cause I errantly thought this (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0714CYKBJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) was a kit of brackets that might help mounting things on bike and realized it was vastly too big for that when received.

That’s an interesting idea, I have used cheap jack stands from harbor freight in a similar fashion.
