Joel H informed us during the September 30 ride that it was the last one of the year. Guess the next one will take place in March 2018.

Doesn't mean we can't get together there for an unofficial ride.   [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

Right, I don't consider the RBM ride to be the official rbent ride.  If we do our own, we do our own.  It may even be at another locale, rolling on a different route. I know, it may be the $4,000 worth of insult talking, but I still have no love and loyalty to RBM.   [smiley=angry.gif]

Time to resurrect the RBENT 100?    ;D

I'd be up for an RBENT 100K, provided the ride leader is riding a Terra Trike Rover, not a velomobile.  :D

My knees hurt just thinking about that

With the predicted cold morning, I guess I'll just do the East side ride, which starts at 9:30.  That way I don't have to wake up early, and the sun can heat things up a little bit.   [smiley=whistling.gif]

I'm thinking the same thing ..  there is probably 10 degree difference between 8:30 and 9:30 tomorrow morning

We'd have to upright him every few hundred yards.   :P

I took a rare Saturday off the bike/trike, due to the chill factor...   went to an "Open Mosque" day in Plano, then caught Blade Runner 2049 at the movies....

The GDB Airport Ride with around the airport is a 100K, provided you do the Tower Loop...  and kicking out to 183 adds another couple.

So how many stars do you give Blade Runner?   [smiley=shrug.gif]

Oh, 3.5 to 4 out of 5...   You definitely want to have seen the original before seeing this one, or you'll miss TONS of references...  and it's a good story, but there are several scenes that drag, in an attempt to create "atmosphere"...  It's definitely an homage to the original, and pretty well conceived.

Just how fast does one have to be

about 25-30 sheppeys per hour or thereabouts is the usual street level cruising speed depending on the surface.
