Title: Duro Tires
Post by Action Lad on Sep 24th, 2017, 11:13pm

Anyone have experience with Duro tires, (durotire.com)?  Pretty decent profile I've seen on a Performer I saw on YouTube.  What's life like with these?  Thanks.

You see them in china,  mostly on cheap folding bikes in discount stores (think huffy)  ..  I've not actually seen anyone riding with them that I would consider a "cyclist" participating in our style riding.    Most of the people I hang with over there avoid Chinese tires like the plague

Yabit, besides being ousted from "legit" cycling communities because "You ain't like us,"  what is the actual reason for staying away from these tires?  Poor craftsmanship?  Lack of durability/reliability?  High rolling resistance? I'm not so worried about not being considered a real cyclist after this iconoclast had his "black card" taken away years ago.
I have learned to stay away from Chinese 650s after experiencing them boom like July 4th reports.  The 650, in my opinion, is a real test of a rubber tire's mettle.
