Title: Comfy seat
Post by bent_mike on Mar 15th, 2017, 9:27pm

[smiley=chinscratch.gif]I have just taken over an Advantage Cycles A3 style trike.

It has a fixed mesh seat on a pipe frame. I can see the pipe getting tiring on long rides.

Are there any suggestions on how to modify or add to this seat, to cushion the stiffness?

Order a Ventisit pad: http://www.utahtrikes.com/UTBRAND-172.html

Check that trike out very carefully before you ride it much. We had one at the shop recently and it had some significant issues.

[smiley=cheers.gif]Thanks for the warning. I have been riding it a lot lately. I have not found many problems. I need to work on the front and rear derailleurs which fight me on low and high gears.

Otherwise it goes pretty well. Of course the motor gives out faster than I would like.  ;)
