Terrie and I are having a special party at our house in Rowlett, on Saturday, Nov. 14th -- it's a combination birthday party / potluck and houseconcert, featuring outstanding folk performer Jack Williams (www.jackwilliamsmusic.com).

We will do a potluck starting at 6PM, with the concert starting at 7. We are providing burgers, chicken, and birthday cake [smiley=birthday.gif] -- the rest of it is up to you! Bring whatever you would like, including beer/wine. [smiley=cheers.gif]

We would love to have you join us - but since we have a performer, we are actually asking for a $15 performer donation per person (i.e., 'selling tix') in advance. (Yes, we're charging people to come to my birthday party! <Paul> :D )

If you can join us, or if you just want more information, go to museical.ludustickets.com -- this is our "Muse-ical Houseconcerts" event and purchase page!!!! There, you will see more details about the houseconcert, as well as a video of Jack, photos from prior houseconcerts, and maps, along with the credit card capability through the "Reserve Seats" button towards the bottom of the page! There is a small service charge added to the credit card transaction, so that Jack gets the whole $15... ALL money we receive goes to the performer.

If you prefer to write a check instead, make it out to Jack Williams for $15 per person, and get it to Paul when you can. You can also mail it in to our house address shown on the Ludus page.

Advance purchase helps us plan seating and food needs!! We appreciate your support, and hope you can join us on Nov. 14th for a really fun evening!!!!!

Anybody else want to join us? I've added an "RSVP by Sending Check" and "RSVP Pay at Door" option to the payment screen... advance RSVPs help us plan seating and food!

Had a GREAT time, with about 30 people in attendance, including Kenny, Lynn, and Key... Kenny turned into quite the songbird, when Jack started playing snippets of songs from Kenny's youth.... :D [smiley=thumbsup.gif] And Key, despite not expecting to hear "his kind" of music, was very pleasantly surprised...

Terrie made a special birthday "intentional Cake Wreck", modeled after the bakery screwups at www.cakewrecks.com (for those unfamiliar with the concept)...
