Title: Making a Buzz.... Post by reever on Sep 25th, 2015, 1:08pm I don't need to tell any of y'all that our bikes get plenty of comments anywhere we go. Today as I took off on my morning ride I rode past an elementary school that is near my house. The kids were out running their laps in P.E. class I saw the usual pointing and yelling. This time I was close enough to hear one of the kids. What I thought he might say was-"There's that cool guy on that cool bike!" What he yelled out was-"There's that old guy on the cool bike!" Oh, well..... |

There's a bike passing. Ooo! It's a lay-down bike!" Girl: "I want a lay-down bike!" |

They were taking videos of me riding with their cell phones. One says, you are pretty fast, for and old guy. They all wanted to know if I had an electric motor inside. They just had to look. 3 of the 4 said they wanted a recumbent bike. I heard why when I was riding off, if an old fart like that can go that fast on it, I want one. lol [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif] |
