Title: Trainer for Trike with 20" wheel
Post by MrBossman on Nov 4th, 2014, 7:17am

Hello
It is starting to get cold out.  I do not want to loose any gains I have made.  I am looking for a trainer for indoor rides, that will adjust to a 20" wheel.  I have a 2012 Catrike Road.

??!  So put on more clothes and ride.  If I tried to keep up my training inside on a trainer I'd be a candidate for the padded room!   :o

I've got a Sportcrafters roller trainer that works pretty good. Mine is an older model. I'm told the newer ones work much better.

I've owned Kreitler Rollers for quite some time.  Actually rode them during the winter for several winters, but there's just something about being outside, where the effort changes naturally, there is wind resistance, turns, etc., to make things interesting enough to make the miles go by faster. Rollers serve the purpose sometimes, but it can get boring if it's the only cycling experience all winter.  Warm weather togs is the way.
