Assuming the weather cooperates, I'll lead a group starting in Rockwall heading up north to Lavon, on Saturday Nov 8th, for about 30 miles round trip. If weather DOESN'T cooperate, we'll try it that next morning, on Sunday!

Rollout from the parking lot beside Luigi's Italian Cafe (on 205, just north of 30) at 8:30AM sharp -- we'll ride the full length of John King, up 205 for a bit, then take the back roads up to Lavon... take a break, then back. Lunch afterwards, at either Luigi's or Joe Willy's -- group decision!

Probably rolling speed ~15 mph, no drop, finishing ride at 11:30ish.

The pavement has been grooved from John king to Walgreens, in preparation for paving. Hope it has been completed by then.

Are you talking about on 205? We shouldn't have to worry about that, we come out on 205 north of there, and head north...

Terrie is free that (Saturday) morning, so we'll be on the tandem... guaranteeing a casual pace!!!! [smiley=runover.gif]

Out of town that weekend, otherwise I'd be tempted to dust of the 'bents for Shellene and I.

It looks like Saturday will be a good morning to do this ride, although a bit chilly in the morning...
