Title: how/where to put bike computer on anura trike
Post by esbee on Jul 15th, 2014, 7:13pm

phone fell off trike and broke [smiley=shrug.gif] (it  has the marathon app for keeping track of distance and speed)
husband ready to kill  [smiley=duel.gif]

so what kind of bike computer would work best to attach somewhere on the trike?
we went to plano cycling and  looked at a wireless but  it could only fit on handlebars because of the little bitty part that attaches around the handlebar was not big enough to go around the boom on the bike.

I prefer wireless (husband does because he is the one who has to install it)

any suggestions much appreciated.

Radio Shack may be able to repair your phone.  A cheap wired computer will probably work on a side wheel.  You need one with a long wire to reach the drive wheel, like a Cateye Strada Cadence (you don't need to use the cadence).  Wireless is easier to install, but harder to make work on a trike.  It also eats batteries.
