Title: Lancaster air show
Post by kenbent6 on Jul 9th, 2014, 8:25pm

Just logged to the air port site to check date of air show, car show and maybe ice cream. The date is August 30. Remember this is a fun ride (12 mph or less). More info later.

I'm planning to make this ride this year.  I've been out of town for previous years, but am going to make trip to parents either earlier or later.  Looking forward to this one.

Steven and I will try to make this one too. Don't know whether we will do trikes or bikes.

Is there a website with more info?  How long is the ride?  Where does the ride start?

This was just a teaser to let all my bent buddies know the DATE. This fun ride info will follow at later date. This will be a good ride for the trike tandem. ( we will be leaving from Segoville.)

Just to give you an idea - this is my Garmin file from last years.  Who knows if Kenny will change the route but I suspect distance and speed would remain about the same.  http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/371193161

Yeah, this sounds like a lot of fun!  I'll plan on making it with my son on our Tandem Pro :D

Those Garmins take all the adventure out of a ride. But they can't tell you where the DOGS are at!!! [smiley=deadhorsebeat.gif]

Thats not true - remember East Texas?  I think the Garmin added more adventure then that boring highway we had been riding all day.  If we would have kept on - we probably would have found MORE dogs you could have sprayed.
