Taxiing Russian MIG-23. After the small plane took off, the pilot lined the MIG up on the runway and brought it up to full throttle. He started his roll out, then shut the throttle down, turned off the runway and taxied back to the apron. Johnnybent remarked: "Comrade, we have a problem."  ;D

Kenny J embarrassed us by installing a surrey top on his GRR, just before we left the airport.  :D

The ride is over. JimFPU and ride leader, Kenny J are pictured. Jim had taken the wet rag off Kenny's head and put it on his.  :D

Yes he did. He might as well have just gone ahead and installed a cooler full of dry ice on his back rack, rang his bell and sold ice cream.

OK some more testing with Jay's X-Stream.  This has got to be one of the best things ever!  I gathered some strength and set out on what would be the fastest I've ever done on a bike...63 MPH!  Now let me tell you I was flying my friends.  Most curiously I just felt fast just sitting on the bike this late Labor Day Monday morning.  I called the house and my youngest came out to take pictures of the momentous occasion after the cool down process.

The materials were light weight reeds (which also makes this a Green project!  Maybe even would qualify for some Government grant or something!) from the local creek where my kids gather them to make bows & arrows, with some light weight rip-stop nylon in a bright fast color.  The whole thing was assembled with zip ties, so as not to add too much weight.  Since I "rented" the X-Stream for no fee over the weekend, this wonderful mod can be had for almost the same price; I'm sure Jay will want to have this beauty so he can attain these terrific speeds on the "slow" bike he has.  the best part though was that even at 88 degrees outside I felt as if it were only 72!  It was like having A/C with fresh air!  It was a joyous moment.

So without further ado I give you the speed surrey!!!  Wait for it....

Note the sail affect which greatly increased the speed!!

HA HA!!!!  Jim - I think you just got yourself a new bike.  There is no way Jay is going to take it back after it has been violated in that manner.  I just wish I would have thought of it first.

I can't believe this! The only word I can think of to describe what I see in your photos is "defilement".

If there was a Texas Department of Bike Protective Services, they would have already taken custody of my bike. Why did I ever let it out of my sight?

Were you on a descent doing 63 mph?  Do you have it filed online somewhere?  I'd like to take that on, sometime.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Your camera produces a slimming effect. It made JimFPU look like a Tour de France participant.  :D

HA!  I'll take it!  The aero-belly was no where to be seen in that video!  Of course you looked real slow on that mud bike...have I told you there are a couple of trash cans in my back yard you can dispose of it in?
