I did a local Sunday morning recovery ride today, Its a 43 mile easy pace ride. Averages 16.5 to 17Mph, The ride started about a mile from my home so I rode to the start, as I pulled into the parking lot I see a father and son ready to roll out with us. The boy is only 9 years old and rode with the group with no problems, can ride a pace line better then most adult riders. His Dad said he has been racing about a year and will be a Cat 4 or 5 next year. He also has a 6 year old that races. This is a great group to ride with.
