I am planning to do it too. Any information about it? Did a ride last year in Mckinney chip seal was awful.

It's Texas, chip seal is abundant most anywhere..

Come on up, would love to see the trike. I'll be there on a yellow Giro with 700C wheels.

Just got back from a nightmarish trip from East Dallas to PC&F to pre-register for the ride. The $40 registration packet doesn't include a route map. Was told the routes have to be obtained from the ride website. I asked the registration people what the SAG number is, but they couldn't tell me. According to the ride website, the SAG number is supposed to be included on the route maps, but it isn't. Anybody out there know what the number is?

I registered at RBM on Sunday the 8th and picked up paper maps for 64 & 47 miles. I didn't look at them until just now - there is no sag phone number listed on them. They are also horrible - you can't tell what the roads are from the map. On the otherside is turn by turn directions - it is all printed from RideWithGPS. For $40 you would think you can get a decent map - or they could at least post the pdf on the site with the sag number on it......so far Collin Classic isn't impressing me. This maybe why I haven't done this ride in the past 5 years.

I didn't even think to warn you about the awful accident that was on the northbound side of 75. Sorry. It was a several car pileup that started at Cosco. Every day, coming home from work, that area is always slow and go, then it just stops right there. That's where I crunched my front quarter, my second accident ever. I was a little dozy after work. Traffic was slow on 75 all the way to Plano. I took the 15th Street exit to get to PC&F. Just beyond the exit, traffic was at a standstill. There was an accident on southbound 75 in Dallas that had traffic jammed up, so I took Plano Rd all the way back to Dallas. Feel sorry for people that have to drive to work and back on 75 every day.
