Title: What are these for?

Does anyone know what these bolts and threaded holes on the bottom of the F5 boom are for? They're not spaced right for a bottle holder (not that a bottle holder would work there anyway, but that seems to be the usual spacing for anything that bolts on a bike).

The screws were originally  mounting  holes for a "one eyed bandit two"   A light mount.  It was created as a fund raiser for John Schlitters RAMM ride.  It went out of production because it was too expensive to build.

I didn't know there were other models available.

Ah, I see it now, the RANS High Racer Light Post (http://www.shoprans.com/miscellaneous/high-racer-light-post/). I think I'll get one of those.

Lock it down tight.  A bunch of folks have had them vibrate completely off.

Also, be careful about putting too heavy a light on the end, my N/R Moab caused enough vibration that the end stress-fractured and I lost the light (on a downhill in the dark)

[/quote]The first OAB, however, will hold a hippo on the end...okay, a hippo on a weight control plan.  Clown #1 suggested it for my Big Bang headlight, and nary a wiggle from it since...and it doesn't even translate from Bacchetta to Catrike cleanly, (narrower than my post).  It easily beat out anything I tried previously.
Thanks again, John!
