Title: Tour de Gruene Post by Denman on Oct 20th, 2013, 9:04am Looking at the upcoming Tour de Gruene I wondered if anyone has tried this before, and if anyone is planning to ride it this year. We're kind of considering it at this point, but only the 35 mile recreational route if we do. http://www.tourdegruene.com/ Through the Hill country should be a scenic ride. |

It's an EXCELLENT ride with the last 15 miles along the Guadalupe river which is spectacular. Here's my take on last years ride, the 35 mile route will be going to the north, they eliminated that northeast section this year. Title: Re: Tour de Gruene Post by Denman on Nov 2nd, 2013, 8:35am We chose not to try this one, now I'm kind of wishing we had. Between the floods and my wife doesn't know if she's up to 35+ miles yet we decided to stay home. The video was pretty good, thanks. |
