Title: Maintenance Stand
Post by Phantom Rider on Jul 22nd, 2013, 9:44am

I am in need of a stand for my 2 wheelers, something that can be used to perform routine maintenance. The stand would be stored in the garage when not in use and ideally would be compactly stored. I have never looked at stands so this is a new area for me. DIY ideas are certainly welcome as I am quite frugal(cheap as my wife says) and appreciate doing things right while saving a dollar, besides money saved is more money to spend on toys for the bike.

I use this folding stand: http://www.boomerbentsandbikes.com/index.php/set-up-service-stand.html when I lube or replace the chains and dial in the derailleurs on my bikes.

Took the plunge and picked up a Park PCS-10 today at Performance in Southlake, got the lunch time discount(every little bit helps) driving the price down to 162.  Came home, put it together and proved it will hold the Phantom and the P-38 so I'm a happy guy.
