Hey if anyone is interested, I think I will do an ice cream ride on Sunday. McKinney to Gunter (Sonic drive in) for ice cream, and back to McKinney. Post here if you are interested in joining me.

What'll the mileage and pace be? Mmmmm, ice cream. ;)

Well it proved too hot to go to Gunter Sunday, so I shortened things and got 42 in, late in the day. The Gunter ride would typically be between 40-60mi total, and my pace tends to run 12.5-13 moving avg, sometimes higher but not over 14.

I am busy all weekend watching the Monkeys so I will not be doing any rides of significance this weekend. After that, perhaps another ice cream ride is possible.

Good concept -- I like it! Afternoon long rides are going to get tough with the increasing heat...

Now that everyone's monkeys are back home for the summer, I am freeeeee! If you do another Ice Cream Ride, I'm in. Limiting times for me are: Sunday: Only avail. after work at 1 p.m. evening works fine with me. All other days and nights are free. [smiley=pepper.gif]

Maybe next weekend for a run to Gunter? Otherwise it would have to be a local McK. Sonic run during an evening ride for me.

Going to Sonic is fun for a triker, since you can eat on the trike like in a car. We may do that later. This week, I will be working the last week of summer school in Irving. After that, nothing else.
