Title: Speed idler
Post by rmillay on May 31st, 2013, 3:25pm

OK, guys.  Jay?  Doing brief tuneup on Kathy's Speed, I see the single idler under the seat seems to be pretty worn.  If it had teeth, they are just nubs now.  And the keeper and tube holder are banged up.  Will one of Terratrike's idlers work?  If so, which one?  Maybe there is an upgrade?  Would John Morciglio make a trike?  Oh, wait!  That's another topic.   [smiley=dankk2.gif]

I've had one of these on my Speed since it was new: http://t-cycle.com/idlers-chain-management-c-41/idler-kits-c-41_42/catrike-c-41_42_45/catrike-dual-idler-kit-p-146.html.

Thanx, Jay.  I'll look into that.

The description indicates the kit also includes a Musashi-style, floating chain tube holder: http://t-cycle.com/-p-136.html
