This was my very first organized ride, and if I do no other rides in a year, I'll be here...God willing.

I'll be there on my trike. Hard to believe that another year has passed and it's time for the Ride of Silence, again. Time flies when you're having fun (riding recumbents). :)

Hey Key,.maybe we can get Cadence to host a ride for McKinney? I'd love to do one here locally.

Er, completely slipped my mind when I went down there for the brake pad replacement. I'll have to have Siri remind me to call tomorrow. :-[

By the way, Vic, I did happen to call Cadence a couple of days ago, but I didn't get to talk with one of the guys I am familiar with. "Well, I'm one of the general managers, perhaps I can help." Fine. I broached the idea of hosting a Ride of Silence, since folks who live here have to travel some distance to do one, and I believe there is a large contingent who would do it up here. He shrugged it off, saying they have too much on their plate to do it, seeing that they have a store opening up soon, and all. With that, I am not even sure he knows what the RoS is, though he said he did. "No, no, I'm talking about next year, since this one's already upon us." GM: "Oh, well perhaps next year." Definitely the wrong person to talk to. Did not know, did not care.
