Title: Trinity Trail Ride
Post by Cookie on Apr 22nd, 2013, 9:22am

Last year a few of the Clowns did a Saturday morning ride  on the Trinity. Weather permiting how bout we try it again. [smiley=dbanana.gif] We will leave Pecan Valley Park, Lake Benbrook between 09:30 - 10:00 am Sat.(04/27/13) and head north on the trail to The Ft.Worth Stock Yards, have lunch   [smiley=rolleyes.gif]  and then head back south again. This is about 26 miles round trip.
If you need directions give me a call 469-286-9702.

Jerry, several of us that have previously done Stockyard rides won't be able to make it. We will be doing the Muenster ride.

I will be riding the Muenster ride as well.  Would still love to do this sometime in the future.  I love riding the Trinity Trails.

Same here - trail ride sounds like fun, except for the 14 stretches that are torn up between those two points :)

The Trinity trail sounds like it may be a challenge with the May Fest going on and multiple construction sites.
I will be leaving Peacan Park around 09:30 or so. Weather sounds like it will be a great day to ride. Come on down Ken.  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

Ken, I understand. There will be another day. Hang in there. I still plan on going Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

Jerry,

Are you going to be able get past Trinity Park? Mizta_Nice reported the trail is closed at that location, until May 7th for Mayfest.

There are ways to get around, not complicated at all.  I'm doing it all the time and I'm getting on the trial near gateway Park.

Hi Jay,
Yes, there is a way around the May fest area. I did it last year without any problems.
You all have a good ride on the Muenster ride.
Wish I was closer to White Rock, I miss riding with you all on a weekly basis.

We miss riding with you, Jerry. The Clowns are looking forward to doing a Stockyards ride with you in the future. We were talking about it, before you started this thread.
