Saw a crankset on sale at Performance, so I made a long drive from East Dallas to North Plano in my gas-sucking bike/trike carrier. The address they list on their website is 6101 Avenue K, which doesn't exist. I assumed it was a typo and that the store was actually located on K Avenue. There is an LA Fitness set way back off of the road at the listed address. Called them when I got home and found out their store is on the back side of LA Fitness. Maybe everybody but me knows where they're located, but I thought I would post this anyway.

On the way back home decided to take a side trip and check out RBM's recumbent offerings at their Richardson store. They have one of each of Catrike's trike line on the floor, except for a Pocket. The only high-performance recumbent on the floor was a black Catrike 700.

Yeah. Friday is one of your days off, isn't it? You could have gone with me and bought something red to make one of your many HPVs faster. :)

I had a similar experience when I went to the Performance store on Walnut Hill, only to find it gone. Had a heck of a time finding the one over off 635 because it, too is in a very awkward location. Maybe they do this to encourage people to buy online.

Because I don't want to do stop and go traffic on IH 635 (LBJ Fwy). I had my fill of it driving to and from Fort Worth when I was working. It will be a lot easier and less nerve wracking to just drive my computer to Performance's website from now on when I see a sale item that I must have. :)
