I have done the Tour de Muleshoe and plan on doing it again this year, its flat and hot dry ride.

Yeah, thats 142 miles round trip just to get to and from the ride, then $30 to register. That's a lot of work and a lot of money for a Bar B Q meal with home made Ice cream for dessert. I can ride to Soulman's and get a good plate for $7 without having to ride TX 66 through Rowlett both ways.
