Title: Collin Classic Post by JimFPU on Apr 3rd, 2012, 12:37pm http://www.collinclassic.org/home.html Anyone doing this one? Looks like I'll be doing the 4 mile Family Ride...with the family of course! [smiley=runover.gif] None of the kids want to try the 20...maybe next year, unless I can find them a 'bent sooner. |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by dd5339 on Apr 3rd, 2012, 5:28pm It's on my calendar for June. My plan is for the 62 mile ride. I think Vicky is planning on taking the kids up for the four miler. Semper Fi Now registered... |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by Denman on Apr 3rd, 2012, 7:43pm We'll be doing it, not sure which length though. We live in McKinney and may host a pool party afterwards. |

Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by dd5339 on Jun 6th, 2012, 10:08am The ride is this weekend. Who all is coming up? I'm headed down to Plano Bike either today or tomorrow for packet pickup. Semper Fi |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by JimFPU on Jun 6th, 2012, 10:50am Going at lunch with the fam to pick up the packets! Kids are alreay talking about doing 2 or 3 laps of the 4 milers to get their milage up, LOL. They're catching on! Update: kids are really excited now that they have their shirts! They are even looking at some of the other rides advertized in the bag of goodies! There is a 20% coupon for PCF in the bag so shop and use it while you are there. |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by Action Lad on Jun 7th, 2012, 12:51am C C Classic Folks, Have a great ride. Too many mouths to feed, (Direct Energy, AT&T, etc.), to go this year. Perhaps I will see you at the victory party. |

Where is Chestnut Square? Is there a ride involved, or just a festival? Website? |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by Monkeywrangler22 on Jun 7th, 2012, 6:35pm http://www.chestnutsquare.org/programs/ice-cream-crank-off.asp Looks fun to wander around but you gotta pay to taste the crank-off competitors' ice creams. |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by Denman on Jun 7th, 2012, 7:50pm Just signed up for the ride; hope I can handle 48 miles. Ice Cream crank off...mmmm...I suppose I can afford a few extra calories but not sure what will be left after the rally. Dickey's is providing BBQ lunch... Of course after lunch it should be pretty warm, how does a dip in the pool sound? |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by Monkeywrangler22 on Jun 7th, 2012, 8:56pm Sounds lovely, unfortunately, my Monkeys don't swim yet... :( |
Title: Re: Collin Classic Post by JimFPU on Jun 8th, 2012, 5:38am My monsters do! Not sure though, as we have another appointment after the ride... |
