Found an awesome new bike path in Rowlett/Garland

As you can tell I'm not much of a photographer (didn't even bring a real camera with me). Rode the new section of George Bush from near my house in Rowlett north until it connects at the Firewheel Mall - my total trip was around 13 miles. Too bad it is going to be ruined by a bunch of cars starting tomorrow. Oh well - at least 1 bike got to ride on it first!!!! http://connect.garmin.com/activity/135619945

Alas, both directions are, indeed, open to car traffic now... east/southbound was open yesterday afternoon, and I was hoping they would delay north/westbound another day so I could ride that side last night, but nope.........

Ha ha, glad you got some use out of it before the cars got to it! :) I bet that was super fun.

Horrors, a bike path with tolls! ;D
