Title: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by Monkeywrangler22 on Nov 10th, 2011, 7:34am Hi all, my DH (dear husband) will be riding the Denton Turkey Roll, next weekend on his RANS F5. He wants to do the 65mi route. Anybody else riding that next weekend? If so, and if you see him out there, say HI! His name is Dave. He should be tooling along at a reasonably fast pace, 16+ rolling avg I think, unlike yours truly...the dedicated turtle! :) I will not be riding, as I am going to a pancake feed to benefit our church and scout pack. |
Title: Re: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by shellbear on Nov 11th, 2011, 7:49pm I'll be there with my Musashi! I think that Joanne and Bob will also be riding on their Catrikes. I'll probably do the 47 mile option. Hope to see you there! Shelley |
Title: Re: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by Denman on Nov 17th, 2011, 8:22pm We'll be there. One Catrike Expedition and one Trek Mountain Bike for us. The second Catrike is a few months away, after the next tuition bill for my daughter..... Signed up for the 37 miler. |
Title: Re: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by rmillay on Nov 18th, 2011, 5:01pm I'll be there, although the weather shows it will be unpleasantly windy. Maybe it's an excuse to take my trike! Kathy is already scheduled up. |
Title: Re: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by Patti on Nov 21st, 2011, 12:16am I'd like to try this one if the weather cooperates AND my family doesn't make other plans for me. Don't know whether I'll ride the trike or try out the newly retooled T-bolt. I'm not used to having a choice but I think I could get used to it. |

You missed it, Patti. It was this past Saturday. What changes have you made to the Thunderbolt? |
Title: Re: Denton Turkey Roll, anyone? Post by Patti on Nov 22nd, 2011, 5:50pm DOH! Well thats what I get for not reading the dates carefully. The T-bolt has a new seat, new cranks, new front chainrings and a new mirror. Still need to get the computer replaced and I'm debating a change to a tilt stem. Need to spend a little time riding it with the new cranks and seat before I decide to make anymore changes. |
